Grader Than Technology is a certified minority-owned educational technology company founded by Harris Williams, a computer science professor at Bunker Hill Community College. Harris and his colleagues at BHCC recognized that hidden financial and technical barriers prevented many students from entering introductory computer science courses, which stifled organizational innovation and handicapped students when entering the professional workforce. To address this issue, Harris developed Grader Than Workspaces, a software solution that has since been recognized as a valuable tool for promoting STEM education and addressing the digital divide.

 

Over time, the company has expanded its focus to include K-12 education, where it has helped to close the gap in computer science education and prepare students for success in college and beyond. Today, Grader Than Technology continues to innovate and positively impact computer-based education.
